The World Health Organization has declared that the COVID-19 outbreak constitutes a pandemic. The safety of our employees and patients will always be our first concern and we continue to monitor the situation very closely, and take measures to reduce the risks.

We receive daily Situation Reports form the Province, which updates us on the current situation, actions taken and next steps from a prevention, planning and response perspective.   We will be following the direction from public health and the guidance documents to determine the measures to implement and processes to follow.

The following have been implemented to help reduce our risk:

  • Screening – All staff, patients or visitors must be screened as per the current active protocol prior to entering the building. Signage, hand sanitizer and masks have been posted at our doors.  Patients are being reminded and instructed that if they have a fever or are feeling ill that their appointments will be rescheduled or completed by phone.
  • We will be encouraging phone visits or telemedicine appointments where possible.
  • To reduce the potential for exposure, all group sessions and classes will be suspended effective Monday March 16th.  Other strategies to reduce exposure include social distancing, using teleconferencing for meetings and avoid shaking hands.

COVID-19: Information for Patients
If you think you have 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has it, use this self-assessment to help determine if you need to seek further care. If you are having difficulty breathing or experiencing other severe symptoms, call 911 immediately. Advise them of your symptoms and travel history.

If you have recently traveled:
Federal and provincial public health leaders have recommended that all travelers returning from outside of Canada self-isolate for 14 days. This will help to slow the introduction and spread of COVID-19 in Canada.

We receive daily updates regarding the management of the COVID-19 situation; we will keep the team updated as per the direction of the Ministry, public health and local partners.   For your own reference, please visit these sites:
