This 8-week group is intended to introduce participants to the connections between our mind and body through gentle, accessible yoga poses. The group will include other mindfulness practices, as well as therapeutic journalling as a tool for self reflection between sessions.
What does this Information Session offer?
You will learn:
- Yoga poses for relaxation, strength and balance
- Deep breathing exercises to improve calm and focus
- Mindfulness meditations that can reduce stress and enhance a sense of well-being
Who can attend?
Any patient age 18+ belonging to the Barrie and Community Family Health Team is welcome to attend.
