The Understanding of Self and Stress

This is a 1.5 hour comprehensive group session is offered as an 8-week program that provides support to individuals who are struggling with low self-esteem and high levels of stress.

What does this Information Session Offer?

This class will help you to learn different strategies to manage stress and increase self-esteem. Topics discussed include:

  • The connection between thoughts and feelings and how to challenge negative thinking patterns to promote a more positive self-concept.
  • Identity and self
  • Mindfulness
  • Communication and assertiveness
  • Building resilience

Who can attend?

Any patient age 18+ belonging to the Barrie and Community Family Health Team is welcome to attend this information session.
