March is time to celebrate Nutrition Month!  Each year, Nutrition Month aims to increase awareness about the importance of healthy eating by identifying dietitians as the most credible source of food and nutrition information.  March 17th also marks Registered Dietitians Day!

This year, dietitians want you to know that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach to healthy eating – Dietitians are here to help YOU find YOUR healthy – healthy looks different on everyone!    As Dietitians, they help patients cut through the clutter and they provide personalized nutrition advice that takes into account a patient’s  health, preferences, culture and food traditions.

Many of our patients have experienced significant improvements in their health and wellbeing through working with our Dietitians.  Our small yet mighty team of Registered Dietitians at the BCFHT have been an integral part of patient care over the last 14 years.  We would like to thank them for all of the work they do for our organization.

Is there a difference between a Registered Dietitian and a Nutritionist?  Sometime yes, sometimes no!  Find out more here:  https://bit.ly/38ORvCo
