Bone Health & Fracture Prevention
Information Session

A 2-hour, interactive group session focusing on how to improve your bone health and prevent fractures. The session is led by a Registered Dietitian, a Pharmacist and a member of Osteoporosis Canada.

What will I learn during this Information Session?

  • Osteoporosis – What is it?
  • Increased Risk of Fracture
  • Exercise
  • Nutrition and Diet
  • Medications and Supplements
  • Goal Setting and Self Management

Who can attend?

Any patient belonging to the Barrie and Community Family Health Team is welcome to attend this information session.

NOTE:  Because of our partnership with Osteoporosis Canada, you may still attend even if your physician is not part of our Family Health Team.  When registering online (below) leave the physician name section blank.
