What will I learn during this Information Session?
This session is designed to expose you to new food ideas, tastes, and meal planning ideas. The class is a live demo of a few recipes with a theme that changes monthly. Participants will watch the Registered Dietitian prepare the dish, and then have an opportunity to sample it. Each class offers information on key nutrients for health as well as great nutrition tips that are easy to incorporate into a meal or snack.

The goal of the program is to teach participants new ingredients and foods to incorporate into your daily diet. How food ingredients and preparation methods are able to contribute to our health and healthy eating that doesn’t have to be time consuming.
Who can attend?
Any patient and their spouse or support person belonging to the Barrie and Community Family Health Team is welcome to attend this information session.
How do I register?
You can contact our Administrative Assistant at (705) 721-0370 x 2907 and request to be registered for this class. If you would like to meet individually with one of our registered dietitian’s, please have your family physician or nurse practitioner send a referral to our team of Registered Dietitian.
This class is available on a first come – first serve basis and runs monthly.
This class is held at the Big Bay Point Zehr’s. Further information will be provided upon registration.
